Community Gardens Continues Partnership With Club

Our speaker at our April 17th meeting was the President of the Mukilteo Community Garden, Jeanne Crisp. Jeanne shared the history of the garden and how the dream of community and Kiwanis members Lynette and Lois, with the help of member Joe Hannan secured a location and went to work developing and cultivating the garden. 

This space is available for residents to grow their own gardens for a small rental fee. Also important, volunteers grow vegetables every year and then donate them to food banks in our area, including the Mukilteo Food Bank.
