Fundraising and Events

How we raise money to help the community.

Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Salmon Bake

Our flagship fundraiser is the annual Salmon Bake at the Lighthouse Festival. We are known for our big yellow and blue tent situated near the boat launch. For the last 17 years, we’ve raised over $170K in scholarship money for graduating seniors in the Mukilteo School District. Our wild caught, Pacific salmon, corn on the cob, crusty garlic bread, slaw or salad, and a beverage is a crowd favorite and we have patrons returning year after year. Not only do they enjoy a fabulous meal, they contribute to the educational wellbeing of so many deserving students.

The Chili & Chowder Cook-Off and Tasting

The Chili & Chowder Cook-Off and Tasting was a very successful fundraiser held in March 2025 and will be added to the Mukilteo Kiwanis roster of events. In its inaugural run, 19 competitors vied for Best Chili and Best Chowder. All monies raised will shift back into the community through school scholarships and grants for youth-related programming such as Dawson House, Bridge Receiving, Packs For Kids, Girls on the Run, and more.

Christmas Sales

Each holiday season, the Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo sells Holiday Nuts and Delicious Delights. They are great for holiday gatherings, hostess gifts, edible goodies for your stylist, mail person, nail tech…. and don’t forget to save a few cans for yourself!
