Can you imagine being a youngster living in a turbulent, unstable environment? Maybe you’re hungry, frightened, or cold. Maybe the adults around you are not providing the care you need. It’s chaos.

Now through circumstances out of your control, strangers are taking you away from your home and placing you somewhere else. Can you imagine the trauma and confusion? Your home life was chaos but it was YOUR chaos. Now it’s gone.

Children entering the foster care system for the first time are often riding a wave of insecurity, fear, and panic. For them the future is uncertain and the support and therapeutic services that @BridgeReceivingCenter provides, helps to foster feelings of safety and healing. This program offers a bridge from instability to a foster home with caring, responsible adults. Bridge Receiving’s transitional services help reduce the trauma that children experience when a family is ripped apart.
