Kiwanis Fundraiser Was A Summer Success
A recent fundraising BBQ was a huge success for Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo. In their second summer event of the season, a small cadre of members prepared and presented a local business with an amazing buffet-style dinner at Fire Run Farms.
Over 50 guests from across the country enjoyed a bright summer evening, with a dinner that included king salmon, grilled chicken, coleslaw, freshly picked corn on the cob, and hot garlic bread. Rounding out the meal, were servings of chocolate Texas sheet cake and the traditional Yellow cake, both smothered with handmade butter cream frosting. A Pacific Northwest summer classic!
As usual, funds raised will be designated for school scholarships to graduating seniors in the Mukilteo School District and for mini grants offered to eligible local non-profit groups.
