Edmonds College Expands Their Educational Opportunities

The club was privileged to get an educational update from Matt Allen, an Outreach and Recruitment Specialist for Edmonds College.

In 2020, after more than 50 years as a community college, Edmonds College shifted their program and began offering both two and four year degrees. They changed their name to Edmonds College and broadened their areas of study. EC also partners with Central Washington University, which is co-located on their campus.

There are literally 100s of two and four year degrees, certificates, apprenticeship programs, and development programs for those seeking career paths, or those simply in the “life learner” category. Additionally, there are options for students in need of housing, learning centers, resource assistance, and more.

Student life on campus includes clubs such as Flyers Club, Bee Club, Robotics, and Society for Women Engineers to name a few. Athletics play an exciting role for many students and the “Tritons” have their pulse on Basketball, Cross Country, Softball, Volleyball and more.

With more than 60 countries represented in their educational program, Edmonds College is truly a diverse and engaging place to study.
