Casino Road Kids Ministry Is Still Going Strong!

It was our great pleasure to welcome back Casino Road Kids Ministries’ executive director, Tyrone McMorris as our guest speaker.

After completing an internship in the area as a young college student, Tyrone found his calling, working with families and children who needed that “additional support” to integrate in the #community (many are “English as a second language” families), succeed in school, and thrive in the neighborhood they call home.

About 25 years later, including his internship in 1999, Tyrone tells us that his non-profit is still rolling along, assisting students with homework, providing meals and snacks, and sharing God’s love through service. The ministry is open M-Th every week and over 100 children are actively involved.
