Rotary Visits The Club
We had a great meeting becoming better acquainted with Carrie Radcliffe, president of South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary. Carrie is the newly appointed publisher of The Everett Herald. Her 30+ years with the Herald means she’s been a longtime observer of “happenings and news notes” around Snohomish County and beyond.
Carrie noted that many of the goals and accomplishments of Rotary, mirror what Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo does around the community. They are passionate supporters of our youth, offering scholarships to graduating seniors. They provide Thanksgiving meals to underserved families within the Mukilteo School District range, and participate in other areas of service to meet the growing needs of our community.
Recently, they along with the City and the Chamber, joined us in adopting the John Paul Jones, a naval vessel based out of Naval Station Everett. We look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with our local military.
Thanks Carrie for all you do in this area.
