in Mourning
This week our club lost a beloved member, after a years long battle with health issues.
Earl “Skip” Kidd was a long time resident and business owner in Mukilteo with close ties to our community. Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo was a much loved passion of his, and he volunteered countless hours at various fundraisers, working on club projects and participating in community engagement events. Skip took his professional skill set, and lent it to the board, serving as club treasurer for a number of years. We value all that he gave of himself.
How do we describe Skip?! Well, what we will miss most is his friendship. Skip had the ability to make people feel welcome and valued. He had a wicked sense of humor and he was fun to be around. Skip was a diehard Seahawks fan and an indulgent Cat Dad. He was a devoted husband to Lynette and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
We will miss him. His family and community will miss him. It is a terrible loss, but we are better for having had him in our lives.
Rest in peace, Skipper! 💔
