Millennia Ministries is Going Strong in Snohomish County
We started 2026 with a visit from Leilani, who began an outreach several years ago called Millennia Ministries. Leilani and her husband David saw a need for providing services to unhoused residents in our area.
This couple understood that there are a variety of reasons why families might find themselves in a homeless situation, and wanted their program to meet the immediate need for shelter. To dovetail with that, they knew it was important to educate individuals and families about financial stability, help them explore ways to utilize community resources, and guide families through systemic red tape. Education and assistance during their challenges, with a transition back to a housed situation, holds the goal of families never finding themselves back on the streets.
As the years have gone by, over a dozen employees have been added, giving Millennia Ministry the ability to offer a variety of programs such as items like diapers to underserved families, food for veterans and other demographics, and other resources to aid those who need assistance.
